Press Realease: 30/03/2004 TORBEN GETS HIS BEST WEAPONS AND GETS THE 4th RACE
Today there has been disputed the 4th race of the European with the importance that it validates the Championship.

Notice: 28/03/04:
Today at 14:50 have started the second race. The second departure has been accepted with the black flag warning. The race have continued in the right way. The second race is going to be finish at five o'clock, the definitive classifications are going to be published after the Jurys deliberation.

Today has been possible to start the first race of the Championship.
The Jury has done the departure at 12:05 and the boats are already competing in the racing zone. Only two boats have been penalized, the Ukrainian Vasil Gureyev and the Dutch Pieter C. Jongerius have started in advance.
At the beginning of the race there was nine knots strong wind and the temperature was five degrees Celsius.

Notice
for Sailors:
15/03/04: Crane Services.
From the 20th until 24th of March, because of
the preparation works of the Championship, the
boats will have to remain in the water. Only one
crane service will be done to drop the boats on
the water and, for the mesurement, one to raise
and one to bring down the boats. The boats of
trainers or visitors will be brought down only
once. This will be ruled by tikets that will be
given at the race office. Those who want more
crane services will have to go to the company
Escar L'Escala, which is in the same harbour.
All crane services done with the tikets are free.

4/02/04: Entries Limit.
The Race Committee informs:Following the Internatinal
Star Class Rules (ISCYRA), the entry deadline
to participate in the European Championship 2004
is March 4th. No penalties will be applied on
entries received between the 1st and the 4th of
March 2004.
Entries received after this term will not be
accepted, without exception.

1/02/04: Previous Training.
For all those teams that
are interested in training before the race, it
is indispensable to send us an e-mail to star@nauticescala.com
indicating the number of boats, the day of arriving
and leaving, and a telephone number.
Once in the Club, we would thank you to come to

personal details.
