The Club Nŕutic L'Escala presents its candidacy to the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation to be the venue of the Star Class European Championship 2004.

The President of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, Mr. Gerardo Pombo, the President of the Cathalan Sailing Federation, Mr. Segimón Obradors and the President of the Club Nŕutic L'Escala, Mr. Javier Martínez del Moral, arranged the following in a meeting celebrated in the same Club: the Star Class European Championship 2004 will be celebrated in L'Escala from 25th until 31st of March 2004.
